League of Legends is a champion-focused MOBA built around roles, team coordination and map control. On Summoner’s Rift, players usually divide responsibilities between top lane, jungle, mid lane, bot lane and support.

Each match has its own progression curve. Champions earn experience, gold and items while decisions come from trades, wave management, vision, rotations and objectives.

Riot Games maintains League of Legends as a live game, with regular updates, an international competitive scene and a large champion roster.
