When you start playing Battle Royale in Call of Duty: Mobile, survival depends on preparing for the next rotation. Choose a class that suits your weakness, find two usable weapons and move before the blue ring closes.

You can play solo or in a squad across Alcatraz, Isolated and Krai. The most dependable opening is straightforward: land together, gear up quickly and move towards the edge of the next circle.

Pick a class that solves your main problem

Before infiltration, Battle Royale selects a default class. Each class combines a special piece of equipment with a passive ability, and you can change it in the pre-match area.

Choose the class that addresses the problem you encounter most often. Recon helps you cross unfamiliar areas, support or healing gives a struggling squad more time, while mobility can provide an escape when a building becomes too dangerous.

The Toxic Overload class arrived with the Eternal Prison season. Its irradiated zone slows and damages opponents. Use it at a doorway, on a slope or along a circle approach, but remember that it cannot replace cover or a retreat.

Loot quickly, then keep an exit

Mark a block of buildings with a visible exit and land on the same side as your squad. Four isolated players give opponents who are already equipped four easy duels.

  1. Pick up the first usable weapon.
  2. Add a second weapon for another range.
  3. Collect ammo, healing items and a backpack.
  4. Check attachments while in cover.
  5. Listen for gunfire before opening another crate.
  6. Leave as soon as every player can defend themselves.

Auto Loot picks up items while the relevant slot is free. You can find the setting under Settings, then Basic and BR Mode. Keep it enabled at first and organize your inventory while in cover.

Do not spend the first minute searching for the perfect weapon. Two reliable weapons and healing items are more useful than an optimized inventory beneath a building's windows.

Rotate before the blue ring reaches you

The safe zone appears in white on the map. The blue ring closes towards it and damages players who remain outside. The dotted line shows the direct route, not necessarily the route with the least exposure.

As soon as the next circle appears, choose a reachable edge. Link terrain, walls, buildings, vehicles or trees. Leave before the blue ring forces you to run. If you are late, reach the safe side of the zone first, heal and then reassess the situation.

Leave the loot behind once your group can handle the next rotation.

On Rebirth Island, UAV Towers can spot enemies. Contracts provide rewards, while Buy Stations sell supplies or killstreaks. Activate a tower before a risky crossing and take a contract only when it follows your route: a Buy Station can also attract other teams.

Chain cover together instead of running across the whole circle.

Take fights only when retreat is possible

Before shooting, check your cover, your teammate's position and your retreat route. If one answer is missing, keep watching. A long-range duel without an elimination can attract a third team.

At close range, push as a pair and pre-aim the angle. At medium range, fire from solid cover. Change angles after being spotted. At long range, do not remain standing to finish a target that is already hidden.

Exchanging fire in the open for too long quickly attracts other squads.

In a squad, share concise information: “two on the roof,” “I’m healing” or “we rotate right.” If an ally goes down, clear the angle before reviving them. An eliminated squad cannot redeploy anyone.

Use the Cellhouse carefully on Alcatraz

Alcatraz favours fast fights, interiors and redeployments. The Cellhouse contains plenty of loot, but it also has tight angles. For a safer opening, land near a secondary building, gear up and approach from outside.

Weapon and ammo vending machines appear on the mini-map. They can help when loot is scarce, but they are also contested points. Do not go to them if the circle is pushing you elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Which class should you pick for a first match?

Choose a recon, support or mobility class. It should correct your main problem: lacking information, losing an ally or being unable to escape.

Should you disable Auto Loot?

No. Keep it enabled at first so you can arm yourself quickly, then sort your inventory while in cover.

When should you leave your loot spot?

Leave when you have two usable weapons, healing items and ammo. Stay only if the circle keeps you in the area.

How do you survive a late rotation?

Aim for the edge of the safe zone rather than the best building, and use every available piece of cover before continuing your route.

Where should beginners land on Alcatraz?

Choose a secondary building close to the Cellhouse. Gear up, then watch the fights before committing.
