For anyone following these two 2027 projects onJEU.VIDEO, the Q&A offers a chance to ask the developers for more detail while the projects are still in development.

How to submit a question

Post a question in theofficial Q&A announcement on Steambetween September 17 and September 21. The announcement does not specify a cutoff hour or time zone, so only the date window is confirmed.

Two 2027 projects with different scopes

Arc of Tomorrow is described as a free update planned for 2027. Its announced features include a fourth Age, the Atomic Age, as well as new civilizations, new leaders, proxy warfare and expanded diplomacy.

Earthrise is presented as Civilization VII’s first paid expansion, also planned for 2027. Its announced plans include building space agencies, launching missions into the solar system and bringing back untapped resources to support growth on Earth. The expansion is also intended to involve adapting to changes in the local environment.

The announced features are not final

The studio stresses that both projects remain in the early stages of development. Their features and details may change before release, so the Q&A should be read as a chance to clarify the current direction rather than as a final specification.

For now, the concrete dates are the submission window through September 21 and the planned answer on September 22. The broad plans are already announced—one free update and one paid expansion—but their detailed implementation remains subject to development changes.
