The Clash of Cards event runs in Clash of Clans from August 1 to 31. Players receive packs in battles, from the Trader and through several activities, then trade duplicate cards with clan members. Collecting 60 different cards unlocks the Manga Fury Prince skin.

Packs set the collection in motion

Ten packs are awarded at the start of the event. Players can then earn up to two packs per day in battles. During a raid, they must destroy the requested building to receive a pack. Supercell says this method can provide up to 68 cards.

The first pack becomes available after completing the collection tutorial. The official Supercell post also mentions free packs in the Supercell Store, packs from the Trader on August 4, 11 and 18, and rewards on the free track of the Medal Event from August 12 to 31.

Only duplicates can be traded

Players can open the collection from the event button or from the Clash of Cards decoration placed in the village. A card owned only once remains protected: only duplicates can be offered to a clanmate or converted through the Trader.

At the launch of the event, both clan members must be online to finalize a trade. Requests have a waiting period. Gems can be used to complete the trade when the partner does not provide the requested duplicate or to skip the waiting period.

The Trader exchanges two identical duplicates for a random card, an Elixir, Dark Elixir or Builder Base card. Three identical duplicates grant access to a Super Troop card. Keeping at least one copy of every card is therefore essential.

Clan coordination matters

Packs earned in combat are the most regular source, with two daily rewards and an announced limit of 68 cards. The other options depend on specific dates, Supercell Store tasks or the free track of the Medal Event. Clan trades are consequently central to completing the collection.

Opening packs, identifying duplicates and requesting grayed-out cards makes better use of the trading system. Players must also coordinate with an available partner, since both players must be online when the trade starts. The trading window ends on September 2 at 08:00 UTC, while the collection remains accessible from the village decoration.

Cooperation gives the event its identity

The editorial team finds the event convincing in one specific respect: every pack remains useful because duplicates can support trades or Trader conversions. The system follows a familiar collection-event principle, combining regular rewards with cooperation between players. Its appeal will still depend on card distribution and on clans’ ability to organize trades.

Compared with an event based solely on individual rewards, Clash of Cards places greater emphasis on the clan through trading and the need to coordinate both players’ availability. That design is more interesting for incomplete collections, but it can slow progress when members play at different times. A comparison with a direct Clash of Cards predecessor is not possible because no earlier version is documented in the available information.

For players, the practical consequence is clear: duplicate cards should not be spent too quickly, and missing cards should be identified before asking the clan for help. The 68-card combat limit establishes a clear pace, while packs and tasks available elsewhere remain tied to specific dates or conditions.

Runes, potions and the Manga Fury Prince

Completing the Elixir, Dark Elixir and Builder Base series grants an Elixir Rune, a Dark Elixir Rune and a Gold Rune, respectively. The Super Troop series offers a Legendary Chest. Milestones for collecting different cards add ores, two Builder Potions and the Manga Fury Prince skin at 60 different cards.

The Clash of Cards decoration remains in the village after the event and keeps access to the collection, even after trading closes. Players can follow the game’s other events on our Clash of Clans, mobile news and Supercell pages.

Two details are still worth watching

Will Supercell change the requirement for both players to be online to trade? This rule may delay the use of duplicates in clans whose members play at different times.

Will the Supercell Store tasks change during the event? Their availability may affect the number of free packs accessible to players, although no change has been confirmed in the published information.
