Fell & Sell announced the rollout of patch 1.8.4 on October 23, 2026. The Steam announcement reports fixes for blocked inventory access and customers wandering without buying goods. It also corrects Might’s weight benefit and allows Teleport to work while the character is airborne.
Inventory access and customers who would not buy
In the official patch notes, the team says it has fixed an issue that prevented some players from opening their inventory with an Xbox controller or on Steam Deck. For those affected, the change addresses access to the inventory screen itself. The announcement concerns this specific bug; it does not establish that every inventory problem has been resolved.
Xbox refers here to the controller used to play. This announcement does not confirm Xbox console availability. Likewise, the Steam Deck fix concerns inventory access and does not establish Steam Deck certification.
A separate correction addresses customer movement errors in certain saves. These errors caused shoppers to circulate without purchasing merchandise. The announced fix targets that behaviour so affected customers can buy goods again, though its effectiveness in those saves remains to be confirmed in play. The team limits its description to certain saves, so players should not assume that every save was affected.

Might keeps its benefit for equipped gear
Might, in the Knight skill tree, should remove the weight penalty only for equipment currently worn. Before the correction, unequipped weapons and armour carried in the inventory also received an unintended weight reduction. Patch 1.8.4 removes that extra benefit while retaining the intended effect on equipped gear.
The distinction is between wearing an item and carrying it. An equipped weapon or piece of armour remains covered by Might; a spare weapon or armour item sitting in the inventory should no longer receive the same reduction. For characters using the skill, the correction can therefore affect the weight of carried equipment even though Might continues to apply to their worn loadout.
In the Mage tree, Teleport now works while the character is airborne, according to the team. The announced correction concerns using the skill while in the air; the notes do not establish any other changes to Teleport.
For Might users, the practical consequence is to account for unequipped weapons and armour without the unintended weight reduction. Players affected by blocked inventory access or wandering customers have fixes announced for those specific obstacles, with their effectiveness still to be checked in affected games.
