Once Human has accepted several community requests for future development, including a shopping cart, refunded building materials and rideable horses. The official Meta Hotline published on September 17, 2026, covers the Feedback Hot Charts through September 16 and also confirms one completed optimization and one restriction request that remains unaccepted for now.
The official Steam announcement separates planned features from changes already deployed.
The official Once Human announcementThe shopping cart is planned, but there is no release date
The request for a shopping cart has been accepted and is now in planning and development. Once implemented, it is intended to let players select several items, pay for them together and use spending-related coupons more intuitively.
Those are the announced goals, not a confirmed interface or launch schedule. The team has not provided a specific availability date, price information or further details about how the feature will work in practice.
Refunds for basic materials after demolishing buildings are also in planning and development. The current storage behavior is part of the reason for the work: refunded materials are placed in the Territory Terminal’s storage, where limited space can cause automatic storage to overwrite more critical basic materials and parts. The team says it will optimize the storage rules and explain the plan in a future publication.
The Acting Physician will be reviewed
The request to reduce the Acting Physician’s power has been accepted. Its mechanics and statistics are in planning and development for evaluation and adjustment, but no revised values have been announced.
The development team says feedback pointed to 2 problems: the counter mechanics were not explained clearly enough, and the elite enemy’s high statistics contributed to a negative experience. The currently described counter requires players to wait until the Computer Terminal is exposed, indicated by a blue visual effect, then destroy it to remove the Acting Physician’s recovery and capture abilities before defeating the enemy normally.
This gives players a documented response to the encounter, while the broader balance change remains a future development task.
Horse mounts are on the roadmap after aquatic mounts
Rideable and breedable horses have been accepted for the future plan of rideable animals. The announced development order places aquatic animal mounts first, followed by horse riding and breeding.
No release date has been attached to either stage. For now, the meaningful update is the order of the planned work rather than a promise of near-term access to horses.

The Corrosive Agent optimization is already deployed
The request to give the Portable Fridge higher priority than the Corrosive Agent is marked as optimized in the September 2 (PT) version update.
Following that optimization, the Corrosive Agent activates on its first use, deactivates on the next use and has a total durability of 60 minutes. Unlike the shopping cart, material refunds, Acting Physician adjustment and mounts, this optimization has already been deployed.
The Phantom Pollution Zones restriction remains
The request to remove the restriction that prevents teleporting back to the Territory while overloaded has not been accepted for Phantom Pollution Zones.
The team links the rule to the zones’ higher rewards. Exploration rewards, including loot and recycling facilities, are doubled there, while extraction constraints are intended to balance that higher yield. A player pulled into a dungeon as part of a team is not affected by the restriction described in the announcement.
The decision is limited to Phantom Pollution Zones. The publication does not establish the same rule for other areas.
Feedback reactions will inform future priorities
After the v2.3.7 update, Once Human added a “Feedback Hot Charts” section to its Feedback Platform. It lists recent and popular community requests, with the latest ranking presented in the September 17 publication and covering data through September 16.
After signing in, players can like or dislike individual feedback items, while reaction counts update in real time. The development team says it will consult those reactions when setting future priorities.
The Hot Charts are scheduled to refresh with every version update. Follow-up announcements will then cover plans and progress related to issues ranked during the previous cycle. That process gives accepted requests a visible place in the development roadmap, but it does not mean that an accepted request is already available in the game.
The shopping cart, building-material refunds, Acting Physician changes and mounts therefore remain future work. The Corrosive Agent optimization is already deployed, while the Phantom Pollution Zones teleportation restriction is unchanged for now.
