The third trailer adds the ending song
“closed eye sun” will be performed by Koji Nakamura. Honoka Takahashi contributes as a guest vocalist and wrote the lyrics. The song is scheduled to reach digital platforms on October 4, 2026, one day after the Japanese premiere, although no specific service or territory has been named.
Koji Nakamura is also responsible for the anime’s soundtrack. The second trailer had already revealed the opening theme, “Kanashimi Sae Otonabite,” performed by amazarashi. The project now has both announced theme songs, while the details of their wider availability remain limited.
A television adaptation produced by KONAMI animation
YUZO (exception) is directing the television anime at KONAMI animation. Michihiro Tsuchiya is handling series composition, and Ryo Yamauchi is responsible for the animation character designs.
The series adapts the story of Suikoden II, from the role-playing game franchise produced by Konami Digital Entertainment.
