THE FINALS Update 11.7.0 was detailed in a Steam announcement published on 27 August 2026. The patch adds the Feedback Looper Set, extends Deep Signal, changes Shockwave and fixes several technical issues. The official announcement is available through the Steam update post.
The most direct gameplay change concerns Shockwave, but the update also affects event progression, private-match readability and platform stability. Its notes describe the new effect precisely, while leaving its practical impact narrower than a confirmed stun.
Shockwave applies glitch for 2 seconds
Shockwave now applies a 2-second glitch effect to enemies it hits. Allies, the ability user and deployables remain excluded, so the change is limited to opposing players caught by the ability.
The announcement does not call the effect a “stun”. It therefore should not be presented as guaranteed immobilization, and the notes do not specify every gameplay consequence of the glitch beyond its duration and affected targets. Players can expect a defined 2-second status effect, but not a confirmed interruption of movement or actions.
Deep Signal keeps its daily contracts
Deep Signal retains its daily contracts, keeping its existing daily progression in place. The ENGIMO wheel can provide up to three tickets per day, which gives the event a clear daily limit rather than an unlimited ticket source.
The Feedback Looper Set also arrives in the store. The update announcement confirms its addition alongside the event changes, so Deep Signal now combines ongoing contracts, a capped daily ticket opportunity and new store content.
Private matches use green for spectators
In private matches, the salmon color previously used for spectators becomes green. The default colors are now orange, pink, purple and green, making the different roles easier to distinguish during custom sessions.
This is a small interface adjustment, but it directly improves at-a-glance team and spectator identification when several groups share the same match. It applies to private matches; the announcement does not describe a broader color-system change.
Xbox, PS5 and PC receive stability fixes
On Xbox, the update eliminates an audio crackling issue. It also fixes several crashes related to Unreal Engine 5.7. On PS5, the announcement reports a fix for an occasional crash and for a save issue that occurred on first launch.
The issue related to inpoutx64.sys has also been addressed. After the fix, uninstalling that file is no longer necessary. The patch additionally corrects a performance degradation affecting AMD FSR3, giving PC players using that technology a specific performance-related fix rather than a general optimization claim.
Players can follow the next patch notes through the official announcement. Additional editorial context on THE FINALS is available through the THE FINALS game page.
Update 11.7.0 is therefore more than an event refresh: it changes how Shockwave affects enemies and removes several documented technical problems. The main gameplay limit remains clear—the notes confirm a 2-second glitch effect, not a stun—while the platform fixes should reduce specific sources of friction for Xbox, PS5 and PC players.
