The Filmic Archive DLC for Dune: Awakening will launch on September 22, 2026, the same day the game arrives on Xbox and PlayStation 5. Its full trailer will be shown during the official Xbox presentation on YouTube on August 27, 2026, at 4 p.m. CEST. The schedule is confirmed by the official Steam announcement.

Outfits and Sardaukar building pieces from the Dune films

Filmic Archive takes inspiration from Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two, the films directed by Denis Villeneuve. The pack includes the Aegis of the Unwalked Path and Caladan Stormcoat outfits, as well as a Sardaukar building set containing 73 pieces.

The console launch will also include a full solo mode, a story conclusion, expanded customization and adjustable difficulty levels.

Cross-play is scheduled for after launch

Cross-play will arrive after the console release, but the full announcement does not specify a date or confirm the full list of compatible platforms. Players hoping to form groups across different platforms will therefore need to wait for further details.

Filmic Archive and cross-play are following separate release schedules. Further information is available through the Dune: Awakening game page.
