Fell & Sell version 1.8.3, announced as released on October 22, 2026, restores elite enemies and their bonuses in Dungeon+ Special Rooms. The hotfix also adds controller options and adjusts the Fake Life prayer to stop endgame builds from becoming too easily unkillable.

For controller players, the practical change is in Controls, where the deadzone can now be adjusted. The official 1.8.3 patch notes also announce improvements to controller button mapping.

Auto Aim joins the controller options

The new Auto Aim feature adds aiming assistance for controllers. Alongside the adjustable deadzone, it addresses a different part of handling: aiming assistance and stick response are separate aspects of the controls. The notes do not specify how strongly Auto Aim intervenes, so its addition alone does not establish how much it will change aiming in practice.

Customer movement receives targeted fixes in named locations. In Ivory Tower, customers should no longer walk through solid walls. In Old Vinery, they should now use the stairs correctly. These are the outcomes announced for the hotfix.

Elites return to Dungeon+ Special Rooms

Elite enemies should once again spawn in Dungeon+ Special Rooms. A related correction ensures that enemies appearing in those rooms receive their appropriate bonuses. These fixes cover both the presence of elites and the bonuses applied to the room’s enemies; restoring the spawns alone would not account for the whole change.

That could make affected encounters more demanding than their bugged versions. Players returning to these Special Rooms need to account for the restored enemies and bonuses, rather than assume the encounters will behave as they did before the hotfix.

A separate fix removes the invisible collisions at the entrance to the Special Room on Dungeon Floor 4. Players should no longer need to jump over an invisible obstacle to enter. This correction concerns access to that room, while the Dungeon+ changes concern the enemies encountered inside Special Rooms.

Fake Life changes, Vampire gets a clearer description

Fake Life receives a balance adjustment aimed at endgame builds. The stated goal is to prevent the prayer from making players too easily unkillable. Builds relying on it are therefore affected, though the announcement gives no numerical values with which to judge the scale of the adjustment.

Vampire receives a description correction: it only triggers on attacks made with a melee weapon. This is a clarification of its activation condition, rather than an announced change to the prayer’s mechanics.

For a returning controller player, the adjustable deadzone is the setting to look for in Controls. For a Dungeon+ player using Fake Life, the hotfix combines restored enemy threats with a change to a prayer intended to curb excessive survivability.
