Warframe Star Chart progression: reach the next Junction faster

Warframe Star Chart progression is usually more efficient when you target the next Junction instead of clearing every available mission. Follow the connected nodes, complete the listed tasks, and begin quests that unlock useful systems. Optional detours can wait.

After Vor’s Prize, open Navigation in the Orbiter. The screen shows the routes between planets and the available activities. Each Junction lists its requirements, rewards, and any quest it can unlock.

Follow the route to the next Junction

Completing a node opens the nodes connected to it. Follow the lines leading to your target Junction. A secondary mission does not need to take priority unless it provides a required boss, resource, or task.

  1. Select the next locked Junction.
  2. Read every task on its screen.
  3. Complete the nodes connected to that Junction.
  4. Finish every required task.
  5. Defeat the Specter, then activate the Junction.

Do not retry the Specter while a task is still incomplete. Since Isleweaver, every task must be finished before entering the arena. Check the announced reward as well: it may identify the next quest to start.

Complete Junction tasks before taking detours

Junctions unlock planets, rewards, and quests. Their tasks also show which systems you need to master. Early requirements may include defeating the Jackal, equipping an aura, upgrading a mod, or building a component.

Complete these actions when they become available. Upgrading a defensive mod can improve survival, while starting a Foundry build prevents avoidable waiting. The Codex can help you find an unlocked quest again without searching for a hidden trigger.

Unlock essential systems before expanding your arsenal

Vor’s Prize unlocks the Arsenal, Foundry, Mod Bench, and Navigation, among other systems. These tools directly support progression. Start a quest when a Junction requires it, then return to the connected nodes.

Leave open worlds and optional activities for another session unless a task requires them. This keeps you from opening resource loops too early. The jeu.vidéo gaming news, features, and news sections may highlight an update, but the Junction screen remains your in-game reference.

During The Archwing quest, your primary weapon may be unavailable while you carry an energy cell. Keep a usable secondary and melee weapon ready. Upgrade the Archwing mods obtained during missions before judging the quest’s difficulty.

Upgrade mods before spending Forma

Early on, mods matter more than the size of your collection. Keep one Warframe, one primary weapon, one secondary, and one melee weapon that suit you. Level them as you progress through the Star Chart, then upgrade mods that improve damage, survivability, capacity, or shooting comfort.

The Jackal, on Fossa on Venus, provides Rhino components. The main blueprint comes from the Market. Begin building as soon as you have the blueprints: the Foundry continues working while you complete missions.

An Orokin Catalyst, Reactor, or Forma should not be used simply to pass a single planet. Wait until you have a weapon or Warframe you intend to keep and enough mods to use the additional capacity.

Take detours only when they solve an immediate problem

Alerts, Invasions, Void Fissures, and Nightwave can provide useful resources. They remain secondary when a Junction or main quest is blocked. Complete them when they satisfy a task or address a specific need.

For a Fissure requested by a Junction, equip a Relic from the indicated era. Collect all ten Reactants during the mission, then complete the objective. A Fissure started without a Relic will not validate this step. Check the official Isleweaver patch notes and the official after Vor’s Prize page if an update changes your reference points.

When Junction requirements change, check your in-game screen first, then consult the official Isleweaver patch notes and the official after Vor’s Prize page.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my Junction still closed after defeating the Specter?

Check its screen. Every task and the connected node must be completed before activation.

Do I need to finish every planet before moving to the next one?

No. Prioritize connected nodes, required bosses, and Junction requirements.

Which equipment should I level first?

Keep one usable Warframe and three weapons: primary, secondary, and melee. Focus mainly on upgrading their mods.

When should I use an Orokin Catalyst?

Use it on a weapon you plan to keep and for which you already have several useful mods.

Where can I find an unlocked quest again?

Open the Codex in the Orbiter. The Junction reward may also indicate the expected quest.
