The October 14, 2026 maintenance update for MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE reduces Neito Monoma (Original)’s damage and restricts “Steal (Copy)”, which now requires a 100% gauge. Mr. Compress (Original) also receives a reload fix. Nintendo Switch combat freezes remain among the problems scheduled for the next maintenance.

Monoma’s aerial melee and “Gyrate (Copy)” deal less damage

For Neito Monoma (Original), the notes published by Bandai Namco confirm reduced aerial melee attack damage. His β skill, “Gyrate (Copy)”, also deals less damage and knocks opponents back more easily. The adjustment changes both the damage dealt and how readily the skill pushes opponents away.

The team links these changes to the melee adjustments introduced at the start of Season 19. According to its account, styles with 250 HP or less were being instantly downed, mainly through combos combining Monoma’s β skill with aerial melee attacks. The patch reduces damage from both parts of that combination, although Bandai Namco has not published the reduction values.

Monoma’s γ skill, “Steal (Copy)”, now requires a full gauge to activate. Its effect duration is shorter, and its reload speed is reduced. That slower reload means a longer wait, rather than a shorter cooldown: players must meet the full-gauge requirement for an effect that lasts less time.

The team says repeated use of “Steal (Copy)” made survival too easy for Monoma. These restrictions address that repeated use, while the aerial melee and β changes target the damaging combinations described above. Together, the adjustments affect both his offensive damage and the availability of a skill the team associates with his survivability.

Mr. Compress’s reload no longer starts before landing

For Mr. Compress (Original), the maintenance corrects an issue that allowed his γ skill, “Magician’s Choice”, to begin reloading without him touching the ground. Its reload speed has also been adjusted. Bandai Namco does not specify whether that speed increased or decreased, or by how much, so the confirmed correction concerns when reloading begins.

Switch freezes and missed skill hits await the next maintenance

Mirko (Original)’s γ skill, “Luna Crescent”, can sometimes fail to land consecutive shockwave hits. For All For One [Youth age] (Original), explosions from the β skill “Meteor Annihilation” may miss when attacks pass through the ground in certain locations. Both problems are listed for future fixes, rather than as corrections applied on October 14.

On Nintendo Switch, some English voice lines for Shoto Todoroki (Phosphor) (Original) play in Japanese. The platform may also experience freezes during combat. Bandai Namco says this specific freezing problem was fixed on Xbox and PS4 on October 6 and does not occur on Steam; that statement concerns the reported issue specifically.

Bandai Namco says it has identified the causes of the Mirko, All For One and Nintendo Switch issues and plans to fix them during the next maintenance, whose date has not been announced. Monoma’s restrictions and Mr. Compress’s reload correction are already applied; players affected by the outstanding problems still need to wait for those fixes.
